Why Should You Use Boxwood Spoons?
- Healthy: Boxwood spoons are healthy and do not release harmful substances when in contact with food, unlike chemically coated wooden spoons.
- Durable: Boxwood is very hard and durable. Therefore, boxwood spoons are long-lasting and resistant to cracking or breaking.
- Odorless: Boxwood does not impart any odor or taste to food, which is particularly advantageous for dishes with delicate flavors.
- Aesthetic: Boxwood spoons offer an aesthetic appearance and touch with their unique and smooth texture.
- Easy to Clean: Boxwood spoons are easy to clean and maintain hygiene due to their smooth surface.
- Craftsmanship: Each spoon, shaped through skilled craftsmanship, is a product of a meticulous production process. Thus, each spoon has its own unique character.
- Bacteria-Resistant: The natural properties of boxwood help prevent bacterial growth.
Care and Cleaning:
- After use, wash your spoons with lukewarm water and a mild dish detergent. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents.
- Do not expose to hot water or put in a dishwasher, as this may affect the durability of the spoons.
- Boxwood tends to return to its natural state and warp. If the spoon handles become warped, simply soak them between wet cloths for 6-10 hours.
- No varnish or similar protective materials have been used. To maintain the spoon, re-oil it approximately every 3 months when the color changes from yellow to white. (It is recommended to use olive oil for this.)
Note: Since each spoon is made from natural materials, there may be slight variations in color tones and patterns.
Attention! In recent years, especially wooden spoons and combs from the Far East are cheap due to being varnished and factory-made, but they may not be healthy. Boxwood spoons offer a natural and healthy alternative.
Note: The combed boxwood spoon was registered with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office by the Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2021.
