Honey Varieties

Chestnut Honey:

Chestnut honey is produced by bees intensively working on chestnut flowers from early June. Bees mature the honey in front of the hive all night, producing it with a silent buzz. It is dark brown in color, with a distinctive slightly bitter and mildly bitter taste typical of chestnut. Known for its antioxidant properties, it protects against cancer and is known for its antiseptic qualities. Chestnut honey strengthens muscles with its B and C vitamins, regulates blood circulation, relieves stomach and liver fatigue, and strengthens the immune system. It also helps with coughs.

Flower Honey:

Flower honey is a natural honey produced by bees collecting nectar from various flowers, which may include chamomile, sage, lavender, linden, and sunflower, depending on the season. It has a light color and a mild sweet taste. Flower honey is versatile, used from breakfast tables to desserts, and is known for its nutritional value due to its vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Lavender honey is a type of flower honey produced by bees gathering nectar from lavender flowers. Lavender, with its beautiful and intense fragrance, grows in dry and sunny regions typically found in Mediterranean climates. Lavender honey has a delicate taste and aroma of lavender. It's often light in color and prized for its soothing properties.

Citrus Honey:

Citrus honey is obtained from the flowers and essence of citrus trees such as oranges, mandarins, and lemons. Bees collect nectar from these flowers and begin the honey-making process in their hives. Citrus honey is typically produced in regions where these citrus trees thrive, especially in Mediterranean climates.

Thyme Honey:

Thyme plants grow naturally in arid and rocky areas, particularly in Mediterranean climates, making them popular destinations for bees.
