Yesemek quarry and sculpture workshop is one of the most important sculpture workshops of the Late Hittite period, located in the village of Yesemek in the Islahiye district of Gaziantep and built on approximately 100 acres of land. In 2012, it was included in the Tentative List of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Hundreds of lion and sphinx statues, dozens of reliefs of gods and different types of sculpture have survived to the present day as unfinished drafts. This plaster cast sculpture can also be used as a pen holder.
