Due to the fact that the yogurt used in tarhana production is not cooked, the vitality of probiotic bacteria is in question. At the same time, the forged wheat used in production makes it a functional food material together with the probiotics. The fact that wheat has a fibrous structure is the most important factor that makes tarhana among the easily digestible foods. In this respect, 100 grams of tarhana contains approximately 133 calories. This value may vary in tarhana varieties.
Consumption Type: It is consumed as snack chips. Since it is baked, it is not suitable for Maraş style tarhana soup.
