Why You Should Use Boxwood Spatulas
Healthy: Boxwood spatulas are a healthy choice because, unlike chemically-coated wooden spoons, they do not release harmful substances when in contact with food.
Durable: Boxwood is exceptionally hard and durable. As a result, boxwood spatulas are long-lasting and resistant to cracking or breaking.
Odorless: Boxwood does not impart any odors or flavors to food, which is particularly advantageous for dishes with delicate flavors.
Aesthetic: Boxwood spatulas offer an elegant look and feel with their unique and smooth texture.
Easy to Clean: Thanks to their smooth surface, boxwood spatulas are easy to clean and maintain hygiene.
Craftsmanship: Each spatula is shaped with meticulous handcraft and skill, reflecting a careful production process. This gives each spatula a unique character.
Bacteria-Resistant: The natural properties of boxwood help prevent bacterial growth.
Care and Cleaning:
- After use, wash your spatulas with mildly warm water and a gentle dish detergent. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents.
- Do not expose them to very hot water or put them in the dishwasher, as this may affect their durability.
- Boxwood tends to revert to its natural state and may warp. If the spatula handles become warped, simply leave them between damp cloths for 6-10 hours.
- No varnish or similar protective materials have been used. Every 3 months, or when the color of the spatula changes from yellow to white, it should be re-oiled. (Olive oil is recommended.)
Note: As each spatula is made from natural materials, there may be slight variations in color and patterns.
Attention! Recently, wooden spoons and combs from the Far East, which are varnished and mass-produced, may be cheap but are not healthy. Boxwood spatulas offer a natural and healthy alternative.
The Boxwood Combed Spoon was registered with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office by the Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2021.
