Product Description and Distinguishing Features:
Edirne Mis Fruit Soap; It is a soap produced using white soap, yellow and green transparent soap, essence, water, food coloring and decoration accessories. Its history dates back to the 1600s. In the 17th century, fruit soaps produced by shaping the soap, which was brought to a paste consistency by mixing musk, amber and rose essences in the Ottoman Empire, were shaped in exact fruit sizes and dyed in accordance with the real fruit colors, over time, became one of the valuable gifts presented to the Ottoman palace, local and foreign state officials and became a fruit soap making business.
It has become a very important profession in Edirne.

These fruit soaps, produced by adding essence and emitting a refreshing scent, have started to be known as "mis soap" among the people. Production Method:
The soaps to be used in production are passed through grater machines with 2% humidity, and 150 gr hot water is added to 1 kg and made into dough. Essence is added to the dough obtained to give it a pleasant smell. Then it is put on hold for a day, then the dough is cut into pieces the size of real fruits and processed by hand one by one.
